Dyna/Sportster hard bags for sale...
I took these off the '98 Dyna I just bought as they simply won't hold what my leather bags will when I do my grocery shopping, plus, I can remove my leather bags whenever I want.
These bags are in extremely good shape, with very little markings from road debris (the bike only had 29,000 miles on it, for a '98!). The bolt-holes are ten and one-quarter inch apart center-to-center. They took two bolts each bag with an acorn nut to finish and a small bolt for the tail lights - all bolts included and acorn nuts. You'll either have to do the wiring yourself (not too difficult) or take 'em in to your local electrician or H-D dealership and have it done.
I also have the bag liners one can get separately from H-D. I'll throw these in for free (they're $50/pair). http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...addlebag-liner
I couldn't find any part numbers on them, but I'm sure it's these http://www.adventureharley.com/harle...ck-91412-04dh/ (they're black, as you can see from the pics I've included).
I only got one key, but it fits both bags and works just fine.
I'm not greedy, and there's no way in hell I'd pay $1200 for these things new or old, so I'm going to let them go for $300 plus whatever shipping will be (it'll probably be pretty rough as they're bulky items...I'm not sure how the heck I'm gonna send 'em anywhere). I don't have the phone minutes (or the service out here in the middle of the woods) to make the calls to find out how much shipping would be for these things, so maybe if you look it up yourselves with this info, they'll be sent from Erin, TN.
Here's some pictures (they're dusty is all and some dew spots from when I had no place to park the bike but outside in nature)...
