To make a LONG story short...my buddy is deaf. We have tried four different setups and he has finally realized he is too deaf to have a stereo on his bike. I can hear him 100 yards back at 80MPH but he can't. Too many years in the oilfield being stubborn and not wearing hearing protection.


Biketronics BT479HT This is the rear 6"x9" speaker and lid setup. It was purchased new from Biketronics by me for $629.95. It was immediately sent to the painters upon arrival. They are painted Harley 2012 Big Blue Pearl. It was on the bike for two days of riding and removed before any damage or scratches. He also installed a Saddleman lid organizer ($60?) on the lid covers. It had to be trimmed to fit with the speakers.


As for putting a price, I have no idea. My buddy is scared to death of computers so I am posting this for him. Just make a reasonable offer through PM and I will present it to him.


His loss could be your gain.

I'd like pictures of the saddle bag lid set up and need to know what bike it came off of?

 

The lids work on 98-2013 Harleys according to Biketronics site. They were on his 2012 Street Glide. I believe they are made by Hog Tunes but Biketronics puts their speakers in them.


I thought they sounded awesome. Believe me, they would be mounted in my bike if my paint wasn't a custom setup.
