Anyone going on this? The weather should be in the low to mid 50's. Probably won't be a bad day. I'm considering.

Still up in the air. Don't know if I want to chance it with my bike not registered.

 

Will be in New Orleans, but after last year, I'd be staying away. I was behind one guy that couldn't negotiate a corner and went off the road and into the sand. I rode up to the bad accident just minutes after it happened. I think that's cured me of large rides for a while. YMMV.

 

I might make it but don't count on it. I still need to see what is going on Sunday.

 

Do you know who gets the money from the registration fees? I'll probably be watching basketball most of the day Saturday. I hope so anyway.

 

I am planning on going over and saying hi to some friends before the start of the ride but I typically have stopped going on the Polarbear ride due to the poor route planning and so many riders making poor handling & just getting their motorcycling heads back in to the right mindset to ride safely.

So in short after stopping in and saying Hi to friends and checking out the other bikes that show up I will probably go do a fun ride with my wife and such as long as the weather holds out for us.

 

I'll be at Eglin in Florida for the week. Went two years ago and didn't enjoy. Didn't like the ride and didn't feel safe during.

 

Nope, too far for me. Going to be 70 and sunny here in Denver. That's all I need!

+1 on "big" rides. Someone has wrecked on the last three I have been on.

KSL says 56 and rainy, so I'm gonna cage it there, gawk at bikes and people, get a souvenir, and head down to SLC for lunch.

 

Went on the ride, was actually a very nice time. A bit on the cool side, but I guess that's the point. Well organized, they gave a ton of stuff away during lunch, we walked away with a nice helmet and about $15 in free food coupons. The chili was great. No accidents and no crazy drivers. Glad I went.
