I was thinking from Salt Lake City to Reno and back. We could even take the Loneliest Road back if wanted to. I'm up for it, middle of the week run. Who's in?

 

Sounds like a blast but unfortunately I will have to pass. If you do go you will have to post picks and reports for those of us that can't make it.

 

I'd be interested Doc, but it would be mid Oct before I could do it, do you plan on riding there and back straight thru, or take a nap and then head back? 650 is the most I've ever went in a row, but the more I hear about the IronButt rides, the more interested I am.

 

That's what I was thinking as well. Probably head out, put around 600 on, grab some sleep and then finish it off.

I've never done an Iron Butt either, I think the most I've put on in a day is around the 600 mark as well.

 

Doc, When are you gonna give it a try?

 

Well this month is pretty well shot for me, too much going on. Probably in October if the weather stays nice (which it should). It would have to be a mid-week run in early October.

 

Doc, I'll be doing my other bad habit "drag racing" at Boise Oct 6 thru 11, so I'm out during that time, so for me to join you it would be after that, you sound like your planning early Oct if you do it, I'd probably have to go after that sometime, let me know, I may join you.

Watching this with interest. I'm riding out to Davenport IA and back in the next week or so. Depending on how that goes I could be interested in this ride.
