I wasn't going to push this one so I was thinking 2 days out and 2 days back. I will be staying out there 3 or 4 days. I'm heading out to help a friend with the corn harvest, but using it as an excuse to put some more miles on the bike this fall.

 

Sorry Wyo for my late response, it's looking like it may be tough for me to pull this off. I was searching for a job when I started this thread and just may have found something that will work for me. Taking a day or two off at this point wouldn't be too smart.

This job isn't permanent as of right now, so if things change for the worse I'll be back in looking to hit the highway.

 

Keep me posted, still may do it myself, a day of good weather is still pretty easy to come by this time of year.

 

Yep, I could still break away also, if it's not in the next 2 weeks. Wife is going in for surgery next week.

 

I 'm booked until after the 11th, then I might be game for some ironbutt, may be some nice days after that, might be a bit chilly at night.

 

All I ask is if you two do in fact make the run at least throw a post on here so I can see if there is any way I could possibly swing it.

 

You bet Doc, heck it was your original idea, speaking of fall riding, this Monday I was driving from Evanston over to Rock Springs at about 8:30 am, 27 degrees and snowing like hell, ran up on two very coldddddddd looking riders with California plates, did I mention they looked very very cold?

 

Brrrrr, were there cross winds in the Sisters?
