Default Denver area mechanics? Tech day?

I'm interested in learning more about motorcycle maintenance and modifications. Does anyone want to help organize a bike tech day? Maybe do an ongoing thing every month or so? Plan it ahead of time so we can acquire all the parts for whatever mod we're doing that day?

I have a buddy from the Denver HOG Chapter who has a great setup (tools, stand, etc.) at his house. He got partially paralyzed in a surgery about 6 months ago and has not fully recovered. He can't wrench anymore, but has the setup and the knowledge. We've been talking to him about setting up a monthly (or more often if there is interest) time to help talk people through minor repairs / accessory add ons for a minimal fee. He's interested, we just haven't figured out how to get it going.

Would that be in line with what you are thinking about?

Yeah, Something like that. Like, once a month.

I'd like to suggest a 10k service for the first tech day.

A full rear shock, fork spring/oil upgrade and setup for rider.

An electronic project like swapping out rear lights for LED setup... or something more involved if that's too easy.

What else?

My buddy moved a few months ago and his garage is still in chaos. Next time I see him I'll bring it up again and see if he's still interested.

I wouldn't mind participating as well.
I need to pull my primary cover and check my compensator sprocket and clutch, but it would be nice to have some "experienced" eyes to offer suggestions and opinions......
