Anybody going?

It's pretty decent, I went last year. Won't be there this year. My wife and I are riding to Aspen for the day over Independence Pass. Going to be AWESOME!!!

My only problem with bike rallys is that most of them are about two things:

1. Who has the shiniest bike
2. Beer

Cliche.

 

My wife and I will be there. This will be our first time. We don't know anyone that rides in the Springs area though.

 

Aren't the cops cracking down hard on non-stock pipes in the Springs?

 

I've had my bike here several months now and ridden past many cops and none of them have even looked twice.

 

I tend to agree, often rallies are about shininess and beer drinking..

As to the pipes issue, I have some pretty loud ones and have not been bothered by the local LEO folks.

MossyOak - I would go for a ride with you and your wife.. I am "new" to the area in the sense that I have not lived here in many years and recently moved back from the VA/DC area. So just let me know.

I like the beer drinking and the bikes, shiny or not. Funny you say that, we are getting ready to relocate to the VA area not far from DC. We will have until Thurs to ride. Let me know and I will get you my number.

 

I ended up camping that weekend. I haven't ridden with anyone since I moved here...if you guys are up for a ride sometime let me know.
