Default 2011 Sportster 48 in Pittsburgh, PA

Just testing the waters here...

I have a 2011 Sportster 48 that I'm looking to sell within the next few months.

It has just under 900 miles. Bought it new in the summer of 2011. All the overtime I worked allowed me to pay it off quick, but it also ensured that I pretty much have had zero time to enjoy it.

It has a custom silver metal flake tank from HD themselves, which looks pretty good, in IMO, takes care of the ugly tank decals.

The only other add-ons are Vance and Hines Short Shots, passenger pegs, and a suction pillion seat. Everything else is stock.

$8,500

No interest at all in this guy? I was hoping to avoid the craigslist route, because Lord knows there's someone in Antarctica that would just love to buy this for his brother who's stationed in Germany, and has a traveler's check ready and waiting!

It does look like a pretty good price for the bike.
Problem is that most of us on here already have bikes, me included. And it's still really f-ing cold out. So no riding for months.

Have some patience man. If you were selling this in April or May it'd disappear within a week, easy.

Just so prospective buyers aren't alarmed:
Upon starting the engine, angels sing and golden rays of sunshine burst through the clouds and to rain down upon the bike in a glorious display of heavenly approval. Mystical creatures often appear, drawn near by the magical sound emanating from the dual exhausts. When taking off, the pavement often weeps in ecstasy of being allowed to support such a magnificent machine. Similarly, passersby shed tears due to the fleeting moments in which they are allowed to witness the beauty of this noble mechanized beast as it speeds past. If you're the kind of person that can handle riding an enchanted mechanized beast, this is the bike for you.

Dropping the price to $8200

I'm not in a huge rush to sell, but i'll be buying my first home soon, and I can't put my Sportster in my living room and sit on it while i'm watching tv, nor does it do laundry...
