Just re-read your description and guess I missed the fact that it's an S&S motor the 1st time I read it. Guess I'm not as interested I thought.

it is a good deal . one cant buy the motor from S&S for that price.
but i understand where you are coming from. as a second or third bike , one could be looking at wanting a vintage HD as an investment into harley history. so there is a emphasis on original parts.

hey david! have you considered listing this bike on the Horse Swap page? guys there can be less concerned with original and more concerned with buying a good running shovel to blast around on. your asking price is right in line with what i see over there these days.

 

I agree, it's a smokin deal. A friend of mine has a big inch S&S Shovel motor and it has been bullet proof and faster than a striped assed ape.
