Default Selling my Sportie

I just don't enjoy riding around here...

(Warning...ranting ahead..)

Traffic in Newport is crazy, the roads suck, motorists are blind, rude, inconsiderate, (I'll say blind one more time), and I find myself riding my liitle Yamaha 50cc Vino more that my bike. I mean, everytime I go out, I feel lucky to get home alive, and I have never seen roads so bad as in my area. Pedestrians just walk right in front of you, and texting teenagers are never going to stop, I don't care what the laws say.

Sportster "Beachster" is for sale... now to fugure out what it's worth!

2009 Nightster "Beachster", 2000 miles, North Carolina bike, never dropped, never raced, never abused in any way!

You're just not going to get what all those after-market add-ons are worth.

A lot of guys usually revert it to stock and then sell their mods on eBay, CL, or in the classifieds here. Custom paint jobs usually don't fare well on the market, unless they're something generic like flames or skulls. Man, shame......looks like you really put a lot into that thing.

Good luck.

If you get 9K for a 2009 Sportster, consider yourself lucky. I just sold a heavily modified 2000 Fatboy for 8000.00 and almost cried as the truck pulled out of the driveway. I easily had 20K+ in that bike and rode it for three years, but it was time to move on. The economy sucks and potential buyers (if you even find one) remind you of this fact.......

Shakey
