Just curious if anyone can tell me why this isn't selling. (posted on craigslist too)

Priced too high? Ugly? Bad mods? Or is the market just that flooded?

 

The market is flooded because of the economy and that makes it a buyers dream and a sellers nightmare.
I just did a quick check (Texas) of the 5 major cities here and found 600 sportsters for sell on Craigslist. My son just bought an 09 883 with 115 miles on it for $5800 - thing is brand new, the guy had to sell.
So, bad time to be selling - however you are close to book value so patience, and remember trade in value is trade in value and most mods don't count.

 

try ebay. IMO ebay generates way more leads than craigslist or this forum. BTW, very cool sporty!

I'm going to sit tight over the winter and be more aggressive in the spring for selling season. May try ebay then if it doesn't sell quickly in the Spring. I do need the money, but not bad enough to give the bike away and I surely feel the price is very fair. Bikes seem to be selling for less than they're worth, but like was said I guess that's the buyers market. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for looking.
