This doesn't sound right. This is the buyer in CA and I've been working directly with Dan, the seller. I believe this is someone else posting on Dan's behalf, right? I sent an email to Dan yesterday saying once I could hear the bike run, it's a done deal. I understand he doesn't have the means to make a short video clip, so I'm trying to find someone out there who will swing by and check out the bike for me. Since you are helping Dan out here (we both appreciate it), maybe you could take a clip of the bike starting and running for Dan to send to me so we can get by that last piece of the puzzle and I can send him out a check...

Did talk with Dan and he is the one that told me to bump it back up. Something about you have said twice you were sending a check then all of sudden want something else? This is a 17 year old bike in excellent shape. You either want to buy it or not. I have ridden this bike several times and it a blast to ride. Peppy motor the pulls hard and it sounds like any other evo motor.

It's good Dan has a friend looking out for him like you are. Sorry if I'm taking too long for you. I know Dan's OK with it. It's against my nature to buy a bike sight unseen and I'm being careful... would you send almost $6K to a complete stranger without even hearing a bike run? It doesn't sound like an out of line request really, does it?

I had my evo for 16 years before I sold it. I know what an evo sounds like.
