$18,500

Still under factory warranty.

This is a very special bike. I purchased it new as a Street Glide in Oct 2008. After riding it for a while I tried out a friend's Road Glide and was amazed at how much better it rode and handled. By that time I had already had the factory 103 Stage II kit installed so I decided to make it into a Road Glide by changing the fairing to a Road Glide fairing using 2010 components which cost me over $2100 in parts and paint alone. The advantage of using 2010 mounts is that it allows you to use the vented lower fairings for a Street Glide. The factory Road Glide lowers are not vented. The advantage of starting with a Street Glide is that it comes with many upgraded components compared to the Road Glide and Electra Glide. As an example are the upgraded wheels, upgraded floor boards and passenger pegs, rear fender fascia, rear turn signal assembly, chrome Harley tank logo, etc. The standard Road Glide is a much plainer bike.

The bike is equipped with Ricor suspension front and rear. The rear shocks are 13" long which gives you a very plush ride. I tried Progressive, Works and Ohlins and find the Ricor to give the best performance and they are brand new!

The engine was dyno tuned by Geoff at The Cycle Doctor in Orange County and runs absolutely beautifully. I also installed a Screaming Eagle compensator which gives a much smoother transition when starting out and shifting gears and eliminates the Harley "clunk" when starting the engine.

To the basic bike I added many quality components listed below with the cost. The ones with a * can be removed and I'll sell them separately. Just figure on a 50% reduction from what I paid for them. In the case of the Russell seat it will be replaced with a Harley seat. As for the shield, you would need to supply one. If you don't want the Ricor shocks you would need to supply a replacement set.

103 Stage II engine parts and labor $1816.00
Automatic Compression Releases included
Power Commander $375.00 *
Dyno Tune $400.00
49 state header. Cat header will be supplied. $150.00

As you can see, a lot has gone into this bike and it came out perfect. I have now started another project bike and I can't have two of them so I have to let this one go. Anyone who ends up with it will really enjoy it. If I can answer any questions please let me know. Here are a bunch of pictures. Thank you for your interest.

This picture was taken a few weeks ago. The bike actually has
22,000 miles on it. The other pictures were taken this week.

Thank you! I've really enjoyed it. I'm as much into the process as the result so time to do another one :-)

You're right! How the heck did I leave that out!! Geez.. I edited it and also gave an option to omit a bunch of the extras. Price is $18,500 with everything intact.

Thanks,
Marc

Have you ever ridden a Road Glide? The difference is pretty amazing.
