Im selling a 1985 FXR with a S+S super stock 96ci stroker engine in it. Has quite a few accessories on it including GMA brake calipers and master cylinders, forward controls, dyna ignition, 2 into 1 header, S+S carb. Has fresh top end. Dual disc front brakes. Has a 2000 model 5 speed gear set and clutch basket in it. This isnt a show bike, its a GO bike. Very fast and fun to ride.

It is my Fathers bike. He is a certified H-D tech and he did the top end. It has a clear title and is not salvaged/rebuilt. It started life as an FXRT touring model which had the fairing and hard bags on it, but that was long before he aquired the bike and all the touring stuff is long gone.

I would say that you can ride it 300 miles. Its his only form of transportation and has been for over a year so it gets ridden everyday and no problems. Also its never been layed down.

 

The bike is still for sale. I am somewhat negotiable on the price if someone comes to me with cash in hand

 

What all was done on the top end job? Tires in decent shape?

 

New rings, gaskets, and valve stem seals. The rear tire is a metzler and its in good shape. alot of tread left. The front could probly use replacing.
