Here's what he said on 10-01-2009 about it:

I rode my '09 SERG 400 miles yesterday, on a combination of primary and secondary roads; the shocks seemed to bottom out several times and the ride was far less than comfortable. Even my FXD has a smoother ride.

 

I didn't and won't be buying a Goldwing. I'm selling my SERG, a '56 Porche and a '74 FJ40to buy an airplane. The bike has been in the rain twice, neither by choice. I keep it in a climate controlled warehouse. Granted the ride is rough for my tastes but it rides good on the interstate.
