I rode my '09 SERG 400 miles yesterday, on a combination of primary and secondary roads; the shocks seemed to bottom out several times and the ride was far less than comfortable. Even my FXD has a smoother ride.

After I posted your comment I got to thinking that: My 09 Street Glide also bottomed out until I started putting 30 pounds of air in the shocks when I ride solo. 45 lbs riding two up.
Try it you might like it better. I'm sure you will still sell it, but you might like it better. I'm jst saying.
