1999 Road King for sale
Well, I would rather not put it up for sale but I just picked up a new Springer Classic... LOVE IT!!
Anyway, I bought a 1999 Police Raod King new in May, 1999. It is all white with black side covers and a black headlamp nacelle. Lets see if I get this all right....
- Fuel Injected with Stage 1 air cleaner, remap, and new Rinehart exhaust (2 into 2) - I just replaced the oringinal system that had slip-ons to try something new
- 11,000 miles
- original police air saddle in place plus the bike has a Corbin Hollywood Solo and a Harley rider/passenger seat. In addition, I have a Road King passenger pillon to use in conjuction with the police saddle that has been upholstered to match.
- 2 windshields (1 stock, tall police and 1 low profile- both clear)
- "Chuuby" handlebar with internal wiring
- steel braided front brake cable
- "Frenched" style trim rings on headlamp, passing lamps, and signals
- Harley "flame" style grips, floorbards, shifter pegs, brake pedal, and passenger footpegs.
- lay-down license plate, saddlebag liners, nostalgic round air cleaner, and Road King Classic front fender skirt/fender lip trim
- upgraded cam bearing kit
This bike has been garaged/covered since day one. All services done at their recommended intervals at the dealer. Otherwise, I personally changed the fluids every 6 months.
I am in Camarillo, California. I am a computer idiot so I don't know how to post pics here, but I can e-mail you some if your curious. Based on comparable adds in the Cycle Trader, my asking price of $14,500 is on the lower end but it does not reflect the quality and shape of the bike. It reflects my desire to reduce my payment on the new Springer and only have 2 bikes (I also have a Moto Guzzi!).
Even if you could care less and would like a few pics, drop me a line! Take care! I can be e-mailed through this forum.

RE: 1999 Road King for sale
The add will be out in next week's Cycle Trader for $14,000. I can send anyone pics if they like. Motivated to find the bike a new home!
