Well Jeremiah, I've priced out just about every option you've done to your bike when I was contemplating doing mine full tilt and to say you have well over $30k invested is an understatement. Hello, I am very interested in your bike also. I have a nicely done 2000 Road King Classic with hard bags, custom Brandywine marbelized paint, Stage II (95cu.inch installled by HD) after market pipes, bikini beach bars, corbin spolier painted to match, corbin front fender to match and 18"rear andand 21" front hogpro panther wheeels with matching rotors, if interested in a trade. for the scratch on the fender,

take some rubbing compound & a dremel.

put the cloth wheel on the dremel (use the screw post for the sanding disc)
cover the WHOLE bike with a old bed sheet.

put some masking tape around the scratches

i put some water in the rubbing compound, and run the dremel at varying speeds, till you are used to it,

but high speed & LOTS of compound (that provides the sanding action) should make the scratch less visible.
