Need some input from the forum folks. My brother is looking to buy his 1st HD. He can't do new at this time, but has about 9K to spend. He's extremely interested in the Heritage Classic or Road King models.

What year/mileage is he looking at being able to afford in the 9K range? Any and all inputs will be greatly appreciated!!

 

I am just guessing but Id think he should be able to pick up a mid 90s model with less then 40k on the clock.He might have to do some hunting tho

I've got a 1990 Heritage available for $6500. Its got 65k miles and runs strong. About 10k miles on top end, custom paint. I'll get some photos to you if your interested. Ken

 

i was able to buy my fatboy with 10k on the clock from the original owner for $8500

I got a 99 RK Classic, big bore kit and a ton of accessories for $8500. If he keeps his eyes open and is patient he'll be able to get great deal.
