Where Is That Bike You Have For Sale?
What a great place to see great bikes! In less than one month I will be paying cash for the right ride - a late model, low mile, respectfully ridden, well cared for, Harley Davidson cruiser/sport tourer. I see some candidates here right now.
It would save us both time if there were some indication as to the location of the bike for sale in the posting. I'm happy to travel some distance but truthfully, since I live very near the upper left corner of the country, it's not likely that I'll run over to Parsippany or Pascagoula to look at a bike.
Of course when the machine of my dreams appears in one of these posts, I will contact the buyer. But, all else being equal, I'm more likely to contact the seller that is closer rather than further. Not being a smart-alec. Just want to see these machines find good homes.
Best,
Dave

I agree. I always look in the profile for the location but many times it's not. It does save time to put the state in the thread title if possible.

What does your mind's eye say your dream bike looks like?

mikeurig's Street Bob is close. https://www.hdforums.com/m_2221169/tm.htm
Prefer black sheetmetal and cases could be polished versus black, but from here it looks like a great deal. Like the highway pegs versus forward controls, the detachable windshield, the laced wheels, and the shorty duals. The low mileage and price make it an attractive prospect. Problem is that it is a very long way to New Jersy from here. Someone in Mike's area is going to be happy with that bike.
We're going to Iowa to visit family for the first two weeks in October but upon our return I'll be seriously shopping for an FXD or FXS here in the Puget Sound area.
Here's another one that gets even closer in terms of appearance. https://www.hdforums.com/m_2181047/tm.htm

Thanks, BAGTHIS. Nice ride. But I think I've spotted a couple of others that come closer to what I had in mind. Good luck with your sale!

I have an 07 Street Glide, 1,750 miles +-. Serviced. V&H slip ons, Stage 1, new taller windshield (still have the smoked 4" also and the stock pipes)
Black Cherry. Live in Seattle. I asking $19K, seems like a lot? Save on dealer prep, stage 1 and pipes, service, Taxes etc..... All added up, I have over $23K into it out the door, not including service and windshield. Wife wants and Ultra.......... no longer riding by myself. I'll be notified via email should you reply, leave me a number and I call you. Joe.
