Hi there nice bike. I've been doing some research and the low retail on this model year according to www.nadaguides.com is around $7650. I know that seems a lot lower than your asking price and again don't want to offend you at all but would you consider something in that range?

 

Sorry for the late reply, but no thanks on your offer/price inquiry. Bike is too nice to sell for cheap. I'm going to keepit for at least another year.
Have just added new leathersaddlebags w/Easy Brackets, V&H 2-1 Pro Pipes and a Mikuni HSR 42-18 carb w/K&N filter. If I don't kill myself riding it, it may be for sale toward the end of next year. Still have too much teenager in me, maybe that will go away next year when I turn 63 and then go bagger.
Local dealer offered me $8,400 in trade for an 02 Road King they had for sale at $14,700 and it had 14,000 miles on it, pretty well loaded.

FYI - bike is in near mint condition. No problems, nothing broken, dealer maintained, mature adult ridden.
Appreciate the input and hope I don't sound cranky or rude. I was actually working on the ad and decided that if the bike was that nice, why am I selling it? The Road King will have to wait a couple of years - going to have some more fun with it and earn that depreciation hit.
