2017 Road Glide Special in Northern Virginia - Lo miles
$ 19,800
The time has come for me to hang up my helmets at age 68. With only 4,003 miles on the bike, clearly I don't ride it enough. Original Owner, Title in Hand. 2017 Harley Road Glide Special. First year on the M8 engine. Absolutely no issues with the bike, I would not hesitate to go cross country on it. I am a former professional motorcycle mechanic, and my bikes are always kept perfect and in top condition. This bike has never been dropped or spent a night outside of the garage. This runs and presents as a new bike.
Like most of us here, I modified the bike to suit me with upgrades I think make it better. The engine and exhaust are bone stock with zero mods. The bike has never been in for warranty work, its been 100% reliable. My mods are mostly ones for comfort or rideability, or visibility to traffic. Here's what I have done to the bike. I have all stock parts that go with the bike as well. I realize not every mod is what someone might want, some can be removed upon request. Mods total appx $ 7K and I self installed all of them to OEM standards. You won't find taped up wires on any of my bikes.
* Biketronics BT2180 Amp, BT255 Line Levelers, Hertz Mille Legends Speakers (2). Now you can actually hear the stereo above 45 mph with a full face helmet on. I am running stock pipes because aftermarket compete with the stereo (Had a Set of S&S on the bike at one time, too loud)
* XM Radio Module installed and active. (you will need a monthly subscription)
* Ohlins Rear Shocks, because the stock ones are absolutely horrid. Huge difference.
* Corbin Solo Seat in custom leather with Driver's Backrest to match (not shown) and passenger pillion to match (also not shown). The stock factory seat makes for a miserable ride. The Cobrin is a dream by comparison.
* ADVAN lowers painted to match. Easy to remove, really makes a difference in cold weather riding.
* Kuryakyn Highway Pegs - Chrome
* Custom Dynamics LED inserts for front and rear turn signals, Much brighter than stock. Fronts are also running lights.
* Bright White LED Inserts into the crash bar. Cagers see you coming with (6) lights out front - no one turns in front of you.
* Performance Machine Grips give you a real 'dirt bike' grip to the bike
* Your choice of one of three windscreens, I have a factory low, HD Mid (on the bike now) and a High Touring one
* Custom antenna
* HD Saddlebag LED's as running / stop / turn because you have never have too many lights on a bike
* Multi Point Attachment installed for luggage rack or passenger backrest
* New (expensive!) HD Li-ION Battery just installed this Spring. Fresh oil change with Mobil 1
Located in Fairfax Station VA 22039. Fly and Ride into Dulles or Washington National Airport, I can pick you up. No Disappointments, the bike is pure. Thanks for looking - Duane

Pretty much too late, being traded in tomorrow.
If you want to buy it TODAY (literally today) then $ 18,500 without the Ohlins shocks and Corbin Seat / Luggage Rack. All the other mods will stay on the bike. Will be traded in on with the stock seat and standard rear shocks tomorrow. email me direct at duanercollie@gmail.com. deposit will be required today as well. Thanks,

Bike was traded into Bob's BMW in Jessup MD today, the only things removed were the Ohlins Rear Shocks and the Corbin Seat and Pillion, which I will put for sale shortly. They will have the bike on their website shortly. I went back to a BMW R1250 GSA.
During the ride to the dealership today I forgot how bad the stock seat and stock suspension really is. If you have an FL, do yourself a favor and change those out, it will transform your ride.
