Around here some dealers take jap bikes on trade (had a gsxr myself). I paid 9,020 for my 1200r and here some dealers have 1000 off msrp on customs to. If you cant get no bites see what it will swing at the dealer, its worth a shot.

I sold my tl1000R in about a week using craigslist. we have helped sell 2 motorhomes on there too. I will tell you this though, trying to get 7k UNLESS it is IMMACULATE will be a stretch? I've seen 929's with under 5k miles sell for around 5? But what do I know? You can buy a new zx-10r at the right dealer for a between 8-9k and you have a race thouroughbred

I sold my 2002 CBR 600 last year for $5000 (will very tasteful mods). I'm sure you will get some good cash if you advertise in the right venue . .
