2004 Buell Lightning XB12S $2,975
$2,975, located in south central Kentucky.
2004 Buell Lightning XB12S 15,700 miles. Bike is in great shape and ready to ride. New tires, recent service and tone of new parts. Very strong and fun motorcycle, lots of lo end power and perfect bike for the street. Not looking for trades, bike does come with a rebuilt title.

Great question, probably should have put that up from the get go. Person I purchased this bike from told me that the reason bike has rebuilt title is because after going down insurance totaled it out. He bought it back and just replaced the handlebars.
This bike is a great piece of American engineering. Awesome low-end torque, perfect for riding on the street. This thing is a blast from 0 to 100 mph. Harley and Buell took sportster motor and cranked out ton of power. Bike looks and sounds nothing like any other sport bike. Thing is a naked sport from early 2000s, ahead of its time. Its weird, at first, hearing a Harley potato-potato sound from what looks like a crotch rocket. It also has features that are unique: frame doubles as a fuel tank, what looks like fuel tank is just a cover for the air intake/box, swing arm is also an oil tank, the front brake rotor is mounted to the outside of the wheel.
When I brought it home, I went through the entire thing, replaced neck bearings, front fork seals, fork oil, intake seal, new ignition coil, spark plug wires and spark plugs, new Q3 plus tires front and rear, new wheel bearings front and rear, new EBC brake pads, new clutch plates.

I have heard that insurance agents were really hair-trigger with totaling out the XB Buells on account of the frame also being the fuel tank. Any scratch on the frame and they consider it needing replacement, hence it's totaled.
