I bought a new road glide special from a member here (Thanks SCJ) so my ultra classic is for sale. Never had any luck selling on here, but it can’t hurt. So here goes. Below copied from my CL ads.

I’m the second owner. I bought the bike from a retired man that had just bought a new bike. It’s never been dropped or laid down. The bike has always been garaged and maintained well. The bike runs super smooth with great power. No issues or leaks at all. Turn key bike ready to go anywhere. I just got back from an 800 mi trip to Arkansas and the bike did great. Everything works like it should. The color is light and dark candy root beer, and the HD on the tank is hand applied 24k gold. The bike has some marks here and there, but overall very nice.

2009 Electra Glide ultra classic, first year for the new stronger frame.
Stock 96” engine. The ‘09 has no catalytic converter causing unnecessary heat.
56,967 miles
New shift shaft and inner arm just installed at Denny’s Harley Davidson.
New driver floorboard inserts.
New matching Dunlop American Elite tires Narrow whites.
1000 miles on 3 hole oil change. Chrome K&N filter
Clutch adjusted at oil change.
Baisley oil plunger spring upgrade. Bike has good oil pressure.
Tensioners checked about 15,000 miles ago.
Newer agm battery about 2 years old.
Pigtail for battery charger.
SE Compensator a few years ago by PO.
HD chrome 4 point docking hardware.
Chrome HD quick disconnect tour pak and wiring. Tour pak relocated 3” back for extra room.
Flashing led tour pak and brake lights
Mini apes/reach bars. Approximately 10-12” Very comfortable and hands still protected by fairing. Mirrors flipped.
New HD handlebar switches, housings, and wiring about a year ago.
Aftermarket chrome grips.
Stock street glide windscreen.
Extended rear brake arm.

Nice scooter ... FWIW 2009 did not have a converter unless it was a California Emissions Package and if it was California Emissions the converter was located in the Head pipe ... Good Luck With Sale :>)

 

Thanks. I thought the converter was in the header side pipe on the 09, but now you mention it I think that was ‘08 back. 09 no converter, and 10 up converter in header. I’ve looked in the header on this bike and it doesn’t have a converter.

 

Reduced 7,500 obo. I have an offer, but waiting till after this weekend to take it. If anyone is interested contact me this weekend. Also, I forgot to mention that the front fender has paint bubbling on the rear. The prior owner tried running a larger wheel, but it rubbed and heated the fender. I didn’t even notice before I bought the bike. It’s not visible with the lower fairings, and hard to get a pic of.

Yep. I’m a long trip guy and I love my tunes and storage. I’ll miss the ultra, but I’m loving the new road glide. Still need to add xm, whim, and wireless headsets on the new scoot. I’m leaving the ad up until the new owner picks the bike up. Here’s a pic of the new ride.
