I won't insult your intelligence by telling you this bike is perfect. It has cosmetic blemishes and is due for an oil change, but it runs perfectly. The Kelly Blue Book suggested retail value is $12,375.00 and suggested trade-in value is $9,100.00. KBB also says; "Units which have been restored, customized, or are "one of a kind" would be worth considerably more". They go on to suggest that factory options be valued at 40% of their original cost, aftermarket parts valued at 35% of their original cost, and the average mileage for any 2013 street bike with 750cc or greater displacement is 22,750 miles.

The 2013 Fat Boy engine displaces 1687cc's, and mine has 20,600 miles on it. Even though I haven't gone "over the top" customizing, this bike is definitely not stock and has been customized making it a one of a kind. It has $6,083.48 worth of H-D and other brands of after-market parts. That figure doesn't include the labor costs for installation of those parts. The factory options include anti-lock brakes and security system.

Although there are cosmetic imperfections, I believe the custom features and mechanical integrity of this bike offset that. With that in mind, I'm taking the $12,375 KBB value and the $9,100 trade in value and averaging them. That comes to $10,737.50. Then I'm averaging the 40% value of the factory options and the 35% value of the aftermarket parts. That's 37.5%. Now, 37.5% of $6,083 in add-ons makes the add-on value $2281. If I add $2281 to $10,737.50 the total is $13,018.50. I'm coming off of that and asking only the KBB value of $12,375.00. I think that's a reasonable way to figure a fair price for this bike. Come up with a price that you think is reasonable and make me an offer. Updated 5/30/18, price is now $10,500.
