Pricing help - selling bike
Hey everyone...due to finances, I will be selling my 2016 Road Glide Ultra. Was kind of hoping you guys could steer me in the right direction of pricing it. It has 12,200 miles, V&H headers, CFR mufflers, 12" Wild Ones bars, Corbin seat that has been customized to sit you down and back almost 2 inches in each direction, new rear tire and in excellent condition. Bike also has a PCV, HD intake and S&S 551 cams. I still owe on it so title is not in hand. What would you suggest I list it for? I have looked online and haven't seen a whole lot out there yet used for sale. Thanks for your help.

look again at those numbers-
a cash buyer will want to pay MUCH less than those numbers for what is a used bike.
someone trying to finance will have trouble getting financing for a private party vs a dealer owned bike.
a dealer will get more but in essence they offer more- expertise, reputation and in some areas a legal obligation to ensure condition.
looking at my local numbers ( AZ, where riding season is restarting after the hot summer) it'd be around $20,500.
then the challenge is finding a person who wants it, can afford it and has the money.
You are also up against having a now-obsoleted model motor.
I think abyone with 23k will have an extra few grand for a 2017 ( starting at 26,300)
if you have time on your side, start high and see what happens....but too high and a long running ad will be overlooked- essentially buyers are turned off by a seller who they think may be unrealistic

I wrote a longer post but it seemed mean and too negative, im sorry.
"So if I were to list it in the $23,000 range I would be in the ballpark"
honestly, to get the interest of someone who can buy new at a major discount (for a leftover 2016) you are gonna have to go below $20K, maybe lower and actually probably leave ON the extras in the hope to attract the attention of someone.
not having title in hand stinks too, work on a plan for that it will scare off a lot of cash buyers.
you should keep it.
