FS: Harley Premium Air Horn .......(SOLD).
Have the Premium Air horn for sale. It has been mounted and used for about 2 months. All is good just want something else. Below are the part numbers that come with the unit (horn and wiring kit). This was mounted on a 2005 Ultra Classic. Can accept pay pal or money order if needed. I am asking $110.00 plus shipping.
original the horn is around 125
and the wiring kit is about 55

RE: FS: Harley Premium Air Horn ........
Man I'd like to have it but I'd have to get blow another $50 on a wiring kit. What's up with that. Why can't you just wire it up from the stock horn wiring? Is there that much difference between the Touring and the Dyna?

RE: FS: Harley Premium Air Horn ........
You should be able too install it on the dyna. It is a wiring kit that comes from the stock horn wires to a relay (supplied) by the battery. It also supplies larger wires to the relay and all attaches to the battery posts and orginal horn wires. The idea is the bigger the wire the louder the horn will sound. I will check into it today and find out for sure. Maybe Harley sells different kits to track how many are sold for each model? I know this is true on other parts on the website, they most all interchangeable.....

My horn is useless over my Big Guns 3 pipes. I just pull in the clutch and rev the engine when a cager gets stoopid. It would be nice to have a horn. It would be a pretty good deal if I could make the kit work

Okay...
Verified the hookup today and it utilizes the common relay. The relay has 1 power wire to battery, 1 ground wire to battery one wire that ties into the stock yellow horn wire (from switch), and the last wire goes directly to the horn(in place of where the yellow wire originally connected).
In addition to the above wiring, it is not noted anywhere but I have heard that if you take the ground of the horn and run to the ground on the battery it will be louder. This would be your choice if you decide to do so.
There is absolutly no reason why this will not work on your bike without buying another kit. I still believe that Harley markets differnt part nubmers to track the types of bikes that are getting the install. Very simple install, let me know if you are still interested.
Thanks for looking.....

chevelless502,
Sorry I have not sent the pics as requested, this is actually on a friends bike and he has not sent the picture to me as I requested yesterday either.
No Go on the $75 shipped it is well worth the $110 asking price with the harness included. $110 and shipping is roughly $40 cheaper than anyone can get through the discounted websites we all know about.
