Finally, we did it. The husband traded the WG that was killing his poor, postsurgery body and picked up 201 streetglide. I know - need pics - and will add them as soon as I can get anywhere near the bike with a camera.
Selling couple parts for it on classified section - including windshield.

You traded in your 2010 wg for the 2010 sg?....how good/bad did the stealership treat you? as in did they give u decent trade in or not really?

Actually, we went to Southampton, Ma. Harley Davidson and were treated pretty well. Seems the WG is hard to keep on hand and we had already done so much to it that they really wanted it with everything on it and were willing to pay for it. I have never seen anything like that before.
All their salespeople were pretty young and they seemed so eager. They paid it off and left us with a couple thousand to put down. We never gave them a dime and left with brand new baby. Payments went up not more than we expected and our insurance went up
exactly $1.00.
No longer do I have to cart all hubby's crap in my bike and now he can ride and not grimace after he hits each bump in the road. Might be able to ride with him now instead of all alone cuz he was in so much pain on that WG.
Traded it on Saturday afternoon and drove back there today to drop off some stock parts and saw the WG sitting right in front of the front door - said they wanted to show others' what could be done to one stock.

So, so, very red - with beautiful gold flake. Didn't like the color in the showroom but when they wheeled it outside, my heart melted. Wasn't a fan of red but now I am. I will still laugh while waiting hours for him to wash and wax while I spray on the old windex.
