I have recently removed these Rinehart mufflers off of my 2008 Ultra. They sound great, but they do show some blueing. Also the chrome on the pipes is a tad dull and shows some light swirl marks from what looks like steel wool, or brillo pads. The fella I bought the pipes from told me he had tried removing some road tar with 0000 steel wool, hence the reason for dull chrome on a few spots of the mufflers. I have attached several photos. These are also the same pipes you see on my sig pic.
These look pretty decent when on the bike, but when you get up close and look after they have been removed, the blueing on the inside portion of the muffler is pretty dark, course you don't see the worse blueing once installed. If your looking for a really nice like new muffler set, this isn't the set for you. If you can live with a few visual defects, but sound fantastic, and look pretty decent, here is your chance to get a set for about half price.
