Hi all, I was wondering if any of you 09 owners with the 28 spoke aluminum wheels would like a set of laced wheels. I am interested in choming a set of the factory alumnium wheels but I don't have any, if anyone would like to do some trading pm me and we'll see what we can do. I can make you alot better deal than the $450 that HD charges for the upgrade to the laced wheels, my wheels have 3500 miles on them and they are in showroom condition.

They are non abs but according to my dealer the wheels are the same. I don't have any close up pics of the wheel but I can take some if needed.

My owner's manual says ABS wheels are different than non-ABS. Hmmm...

 

I just talked to my friend at the closest HD shop, he does the parts ordering for parts and service. He looked up the part numbers for everything and the only difference in abs and non abs is the wheel spacers, the wheels can be interchanged as long as you use the spacers that came with your bike.

 

It is my understanding that the ABS sensors are integrated into the wheels, so I am somewhat hesitant . I need to do some research. Thanks.
