I recently purchased this seat from one of the other forum members as an experiment to find an alternate seat to my stock Street Glide seat. It is not going to do the trick for me. The seat is in excellent condition, (could pass for new) and has very few miles on it. The previous owner indicated a few hundred miles before swapping it out, I put 165 miles on it today. my cost was $150.00 shipped, looking to let it go for the same shipped to the lower 48. did the seat move you at all

 

It seemed to have moved me back a tiny amount but it may just be that the seat has less of a "bucket" and only appeared to move me back.

 

I have an '07 Street Glide. Was the RG seat any difference in comfort from the stock SG seat?

 

Would that fit an 05 Ultra ?

James, I replied to your PM. For those inquiring about the fitment previous to an 08 model, I don't think it would be an easy replacement since they changed the way the seats attach in the front. The newer style has the tab on the tank that slides into a slot on the seat pan, where on previous years, it was the other way around. The primary reason I tried the RG seat was to get a little more seating comfort for the passenger. This would have worked well, however I felt like it might have sat me up a bit compare to the SG seat.
