SE 65115-98 quiet baffles
I stumbled upon a NOS set of SE Performance Slip Ons p/n# 65115-98 and installed them last week. The standard baffles/cores are too quiet for my tastes so I've ordered the louder ones.
If anyone is interested in the standard (quiet) baffles/cores then these are for sale. Harley and SuperTrapp p/n# for these is 100-65115.
I've only put about 30 miles on them and have already pulled them out, so no more miles will be added. They sound good, nice low end, but not enough decibels for me
p/n# info here http://forums.supertrapp.com/showthread.php?p=196
Supertrapp sells a similar baffle (K3) for $78 each and they are not as quiet as these.
$100/OBO

Funny, your link is to my discussion at SuperTrapp.
I do still have the stock baffles if you're interested. Let me know.
By the way Pumba, that thread over on Supertrapp helped me tremendously in trying to figure out which muffler p/n# I wanted and which replacement baffles to get!
I just re-read the thread over there and these baffles should be what you're looking for. The K3 Supertrapp replacement looks to be the exact same, but a little louder than these stock 100-65115's.
They sound good at idle, and when you're cruising they do not bark at all. They have a really low end resonance to them, but I want mine to bark when I get on it and be a good 50% louder at idle!
My brother has an '05 RK Classic with the 65115 mufflers and the Mikuni performance baffles and the difference is almost night and day between his and mine. His sound is what I'm after, so that's why I got the Mikuni's and pulled these standards out.
Enough babbling, let me know if you're interested and we'll work from there.
Later,
B-F

Glad it helped. I found SuperTrapp to be a very helpful company.
I'm still running the damaged baffles the previous owner inflicted on these mufflers.
I'm kind of the opposite of you. I want some rumbling bark when accelerating, but want it to quiet down while cruising. Mostly for the OL for our 2-up riding. You know keep the wife happy....
I however like the louder volume they currently have, but after 6 or 8 hours it gets on my nerves. Hey, by the way my RK is also a '99 and runs like a charm!
So yes, I am very interested in your baffles.
Would you take $100 shipped?
