Well that other guy is selling his own home made copy of a Harley tour pac. Where captsam is selling GENUINE HD parts, even though he is peddling his Ebay auctions on this web site, (which I personnaly don't approve of).

 

No hinge, no latches , no locks, no weather strippings, and finaly the solo rack is a little over $200.00 at the dealer, so no it's hardley the same thing.

 

No.. It does have the locks, and hinges, and weather striping, and solo quick detach rack.. Everything to make it work.. You either get it painted to match your bike and put it together, or put it together, leaving it black..

In answer to the other comment.. Classifieds here refer to eBay sales all the time. It is also the same tour pac your seeing on eBay.. I just bought all the hdwe, Harley solo quick detach etc.
I* will be breaking even.. Maybe.. Still cheaper than most..

FYI.. Just giving my fellow forum members a heads up on a New. chopped tour pac setup..

Then added hinges, locks, weather stripping, and a Harley solo detach rack. All ready to paint..... THEN... OMG...!!

Decided to go with the soft bag setup.. (in other words... Changed my mind.) !!!!

So I also used Waynes pic's as well as mine.. Because he had good pic's.. OK..

what would i do about a liner for hte inside?

 

They make a bag insert.. or you can spray (or have it sprayed when /if you get it painted) with a black rubberized paint.. That is what I was going to do.. they make it (rubberized paint) in other colors too.
