I have a set of progressive 12" 418 shocks that I bought for my 99' Dyna. The guy wasnt clear in the description and I took a chance but they didnt fit. They were mounted for about 30 minutes and when we lowered the bike we noticed they sat too low. Never rode on, we immediately removed them. Unfortunately it has the wrong spring rate for my bike.

Looking to get around $300 shipped.

They are aluminum bodies with black springs.

They fit the following models:

78-85 XLH,XLS,XLX and XR1000

86-90 XLH 1200/100/883 and 883 Hugger

91-00 1200/883 Sportsters, All

82-94 FXR,FXRS and FXRT

80-00 FLT,FLTC

82-94 FLHT,FLHTC

I sent you an E-mail about your shocks but I think I am going to go with the 440's instead. You may want to list that those shocks fit later FLH's.

So was this the wrong height for your sportster or did you need the heavy duty spring rate model? I have seen people put these on street bobs and have no issues. In fact Im thinking about putting them on my Fat bob or maybe some 440's. Are they still available?
