RE: Silver BigBore Jugs and pistons
Hey Phil, I have a question for you. I am very interested. What all is involved with swapping these out. Is it something that can be easily done in my garage? Also, what else would I need to do to make my bike 95", or are the jugs, pistons and gaskets it? Also, would I have to swap outcams to make the bikework well? I intend on doing this project as soon as I can. thanks, and feel free to PM me. I can do either paypal, or money order, your choice.

RE: Silver BigBore Jugs and pistons
I'll PM you back.
Basically, besides the jugs and pistons, all ya need is a topend gasket set (HDp/n 17052-99B) oil, & a filter.
It can easily be done in your garage in an afternoon with basic tools. You will need a torque wrench and a piston ring compressor, but they can be rented if necessary. There is also a way to do the rings with band clamps, but I've always just used a ring compressor. I would also recommend a HD SVC manual for your bike, but that's true for tons of stuff, not just this.
I can easily walk ya thru it over the phone.
