Why not just have it cut down? I went to my local glass / window guy and he cut 3" off my shield. Took him 20 minutes to trim and polish. Charged me a Whopping $10.

I thought I could do that too. Only one place around here that does it and they want 75.00 to do it and want me to mark the exact cut line before taking it in.They also say it'll take at least a week. Called all kinds of glass shops. Not too many people even cut glass anymore, they order it precut is what they're all telling me. Need to find a place that actually knows how to cut glass.

 

that shield is standard on the RK police models. its great... while id like to put one on my RKC, i still want my stock height shield... and a shorty, and a fairing------- damn i want alot.

 

I understand. I wouldn't mind having one of each either.

 

Lowes cuts glass. so does home depot

 

I'll give them a try, thanks. Everyone seems to be hung up on the fact that it's curved. Found a place today that thinks they can do it for 40.00. Better than 75.00...
