I need insurance for my bike, my insurance company doesn't offer any. They directed me to Progressive. Has anyone any experience with Progressive?

 

At one point I had my cars and bike insured by Progressive. Found a much better deal on the cars with another company but kept the bike with Progressive. I haven't shopped it lately but for the coverage I wanted the rate is very good.
You need to shop around since rates between companies will vary quite a bit depending on your location.

 

I have Progressive for my bike only. My agent is an Independent and goes thru several places, was the best rate they could find for me. I have not had to use it so cannot say anything good or bad, my policy was renewed recently and was only $5 a year higher than it was last year.

 

progressive paid out my claim promptly when i nearly totaled my ninja a few years ago. what more can you ask for from insurance.

 

Progressive is a great company. My friend just recently went with Allstate and he said the process was very pleasant and the agents team member was very friendly and informative.

I have been with State Farm for a many number of years as a client and agent. They are usually very competitive as well but they currently do not offer medical coverage. At least in California. Hopefully soon!

With that said you just want to remember that on a bike, situations you would face in a car are far different on two wheels so you want to make sure you go with an A rated company that will support you if you have both a minor claim or a big one.
