I hate insurance...
Got my bill for insurance (obviously) and it irks me to no end that the '10 ultra is a couple bucks more then the '02 Deuce. Deuce is worth about half as much, Deuce has a smaller engine (company cares about size of engine), I can only ride one at a time, there is only one rider in the household. Wonder if I can start my own insurance company, there is money to be made, and the states make having it mandatory. I have been riding the Deuce a lot more since I figure if it is more to insure, better get my money out of it.

I got full coverage on both bikes even though it's not required- but stuff happens.
My Panhead is with State Farm who prorates for fall/winter, but their payout on claims is minimal at best.

My Wide Glide is through Progressive that will give me total value for loss + $6000 over for my pipes, fairing, leathers, mag wheels....

My friend got his bike wrecked and the payout for service was immediate- no haggling.

Take a look at the Insurance topic.
GEICO seems to charge the basics (liability, UM, Med Pay) only once regardless of how many bikes you have, unlike most other insurers that charge the basics for each bike.
I have progressive right now, but will probably change to GEICO - only reason I haven't done it yet is Progressive does offer higher limits.

Yeah, I know, screwing me made Geico a more profitable company. It's just that I have principles and if you screw me you're not going to get an orgasm if I can help it.
