I broke down in my van in the middle of nowhere a few weeks back. I called Progressive Insurance roadside insurance...it's the only number I had in my wallet. Well, Progessive insures my bike, not my van. They had a tow truck to me in less than 20 minutes, in the middle of nowhere, texted me with the towing information and ETA prior to that, asked me if I needed the police for safety, all of it. Cost me 160 bucks to get back home an hour and a half away...and I was thankful. Kudos to Progressive Insurance.

 

In my experience Progressive is one of the best in terms of service. Sounds like they were there when you needed them. Sometimes cheapest may not be the best option.
