Called Geico to increase the coverage on my FLTRU and was informed that they cap the paint coverage at $500.00... so, if I were to have to repaint my bike as it currently is, $3000 would come out of my pocket...

Definitely not disparaging Geico.. they have always been great (ie.. had a claim for acorn damage on a car and they were extremely quick to take care of it) .. just a heads up if you have custom paint.. I moved my bike insurance to Foremost the same day I learned of this cap on paint coverage.

Was thinking about going to Geico but I also have a custom paint job. How does Foremost compare as cost to insure your bike.

 

I live in Phoenix and have a 11 RGU w/ 7K of upgrades (including paint).. This isn't apples to apples, as I had 3.5K in upgrades prior to paint.. so, Geico w/ 3.5 upgrades was 400 / yr... Foremost w/ 7K upgrades was 490 / yr..
