Progressive Here in IL
I am retired and pretty damn tight when it goes to paying for insurance. I cover myself and my bikes very well but I want to pay the least for it.
I have a customized 04 FXST softail and an 07 Street Glide. Both worth on the market for about $23k. I have had Progressive for 3 years and my policy is a 500 ded with Uninsured/Underinsured coverage of 250/500k, 250/500 k for Liability, 1000 medical payments, 3000 for accessories and 500 for roadside assistance for BOTH bikes. My premium went from $545 last year to $579 for 12 months. Itwent up but after checking others like Geico I felt I was getting by very reasonably.
I have excellent health care but still elected to take out for uninsured, etc. Thy only one I am considering dropping is the roadside assistance. I do not have anything else with them. I am married and 59 yrs. old.
I hope this helps you in some way. Good luck but I caution you about underinsuring you and the bike. I have read too many stories about people having financial trouble afterwards because of indequate insurance. And the ******** who do not have any probably get off without any financial burdens!
Ride safe.
