Read your Formost-AARP polices!!
One of the members in our riding group went down during a group ride. We are near the VT boarder and ride in VT frequently. Well now, along with a lot of other problems related to the crash, he will not be getting any money for his bike.
In the small print: the insurance is only good within New York State.
I can't stand AARP for a lot of reasons, but this one is the worst. Yes, he should have read what he signed, but to sell something like this should be a crime.
Read what you sign and read those policies

Faarp!!!
AARP is a rip off for America and the people they 'claim' to cover. My parents had aarp insurance in the '80s and aarp wouldn't honor a good claim. I no longer remember the details, but my folks quit them and never had a good thing to say about aarp after that. Aarp also pushed the health care bill and stand to profit immensely from it. And aarp has been pushing other crap that harms the Constitution. There is a reason thousands quit them during the HC feasco
Every mailing I get from them is returned in their post paid envelope so they pay for bothering me.

I return everything AARP sends me in their own post paid envelope.
My Bro in law worked for the post office in Omaha, the home of "Mutual of Omaha". They said their is a sh*t pile of bricks mailed to them yearly, all postage due. M of O worked out some deal where they don't receive all the bricks sent to them postage due, but I'm sure they still have to pay something for postage due.
I would love to have all the bricks and build a house with them. I would advertise this after building. Lol
AARP will never get me to send them a damn dime for anything. I swear to Buddha!
