I also agree. Something sounds fishy here. I'm no fan of AARP and terminated my membership some years ago but I did have Foremost Ins thru AARP on my bike for a couple of years. I just pulled out the old policy (I still have it) and nowhere does it mention anything about the coverage being restricted to New York state or any other state for that matter.

AARP sells their endorsements. It has little to do with the quality of the product or service.
Having said that, after spending years reading the forums I'm sure that there are people out there who would buy something just because it's cheap and not worry about reading the fine print. I'm not saying it happened in this case, just saying that I'm sure it's happened.
