Default AAA Plus RV discontinued

Just got my renewal for AAA only to find out that the Plus RV package (use to include motorcycle coverage) is no longer available. Motorcycle coverage is now separate and an additional $35 per year per person.

Might want to check your policy for coverage before it's needed.

In California, AAA, never did offer motorcycle emergency road service under the RV package. Like that in a few other states too. Wonder if it will now be offered for $35...hmmm.

The Canadian affiliate, CAA still offers motorcycle coverage under their CAA Plus package.

Just got my new cards that say AAA plus Motorcycle and it cost me 20 more per year, But I will tell you this, I drove a tow truck for 13 years and you can't get better coverage from any other road service. You get 100 miles for your first tow and If you scream loud enough you can get them to take you another hundred. Plus you get 1000 dollars for trip interruption if you are more than 500 miles from home. That will put you up in a really nice hotel while waiting on your scoot or car to be repaired, oh and if you are flying and loose your luggage, you get 500 in emergency monies to get things like clothes and toiletries, but probably the best thing is the fact that if you are ever, god forbid needing airlifted, yup AAA covers the first 25k for that. You would think that I worked for them, maybe someone who does work there will see this and get me a job.

I was going to go on a 4 day bike trip in May but it was canceled due to weather. Beforehand I renewed my HOG AND I called AAA and got the RV/Motorcycle coverage here in CA. I suppose I could dig up the paperwork or go find my wallet and check the card but I paid for it over the phone and that's what they said the coverage was for.
