i hit a moose last week on my roadstar and progressive has been so far awesome with the claim process.

 

We'll assume Mr. Moose lived, hasn't missed a day of work and Ms. Moose is still being satisfied by her big moose, otherwise things would be different. An encounter with a mature moose 1500 lbs+ on a motorcycle must have been an experience. Came close to broadsiding a big deer last year that had a full rack and wasn't looking forward to driving my head into those puppy's. Glad you made it ok.

Had Progressive on a V-Star 950 that I owned and they were very reasonably priced and good to deal with. When I went to trade for my Harley FLHTC, I got a quote from them on the new bike and they were out of site! Over $700, more than I paid for my truck. I contacted Markel and got a quote of $432 for the exact same coverage. Guess who I went with? :-)

Never had any problems with Progessive just too expensive on Harley baggers in Vermont to use them.
