who has insurance that guarantees you will recieve a guaranteed new bike replacement, what company and did it cost you extra and for how long is it in effect? Thanks

 

I got it thru West Bend Insurance. It replaces the bike during the first 2 years only. Didn't cost extra it's just what they due on full coverage policies.

 

my policy from Farmers has it.it basically states that if in the 1st 2 years that i own my bike and it gets wrecked it will be replaced with a brand spakin' new scoot no extra charge...Dairy Land also does this

 

$15 a year for first three years , Dairyland ...

 

Progressive,Formost, and AIG does it also. I am thinking that if the bike is totalled how bad am I ?

 

I currently have replacement cost coverage with Markel (Bikeline). It cost $9.00 more per year than it did without replacement cost. I questioned the insurance representative about the police describing in detail what exactly replacement cost is before I agreed to adding the coverage.

 

Most of those companies require that your are insurance with them from day one of owning your new bike without lapsed coverage to qualitfy.
