Default AAA for motorcycles

I don't know if this has been discussed but I can't seem to find anything on search.

Sunday I was on my way home and ran over a nail that flattened my rear tire. I was about 40 miles from home and luckly I had just added a wheel chock to my utility trailer for bike hauling so it was at the house. Called my wife and she came and picked me up.

This got me to thinking. What would happen if it were a Sunday morning and we are hundreds of miles from the truck and trailer and we had a breakdown that could not be fixed from the road. I know about HOG membership but their services are very limited to distance. Is there any company like AAA for motorcycles? Thanks .

Check with your insurance company. A lot of them offer some kind of roadside assistance.

You can also check out http://www.mymra.com/Roadside.htm

Default Depends Upon the State

I asked California AAA about AAA Plus for motorcycle coverage, and they don't offer it in Cali. You can get motorcycle towing coverage if you have their insurance, and as it was a good deal even without the towing I went for it. Haven't had to use it yet.

I carry AAA Plus RV. That gets my bike towed anywhere I want within 100 miles at no cost.

My classic has spoke wheels with tubes in the tires. I thought about changing them but I like the look.

I don't know who you talked to but I have AAA plus motorcycle/RV and I don't have their insurance. I also have Progressive and HOG so I'm well covered!

I liked the look of my spoked wheels too but changed them to alloys anyway so that I can easily fix a flat on the side of the road myself.
