California offers it. I think it's about $40/year. Not too bad, but they pissed me off when they told me it's not included in the $130+ per year that I already pay

I have HOG, AAA Premier (that's what it's called in TX) and Good Sam...not to mention I carry Progressive insurance on my bike, so I'm covered there too (didn't realize it until I read it on this forum). Oh yeah, I also joined AMA last year and I found out I have it through them as well since I signed up to auto-renew my mbshp. Suffice it to say...I'm covered!!!

Spending a little extra money to upgrade HOG for example, can very well pay for itself in spades because you get more miles covered for towing, household members, $ for hotel and expenses in the event you breakdown while traveling. For the $20....I figured it was worth the gamble.

Just read the fine print...some RA carriers tow to nearest repair facility only, some put a limit on # of free service calls/tows, etc. They're all different. If you have more than one and need it, you can use which ever is best for your location. From what I understand, depending on where you are, you might not get a towing company that is well-versed in towing bikes even though they contract to do the service.

Thanks everybody. I am going to check into AAA RV plus and AMA along with HOG. I have State Farm Insurance on everything now but they have no towing provision for motorcycles. Dosen't even offer one.

Just added RV/Motorcycle to my AAA, not realizing I've been covered under Progressive roadside assistance for over a year.

Guess I have a backup now.

I have progressive as well, I got it just for the hell of it just in case I actually travel farther then my father and brother cant pick me up in their trucks and load the bike up + I have a real close friend that owns his own towing/repo/garage business and anytime I break down or need help he always comes and gets me for free...Plus he likes when we all go repoing together, good times good times

None of them are worth a crap. A fews years back when my 04 1200 C sporty got blasted by some yng stupid bitch who blew the stop sign.
I had Progressive and the extended HOG thing.
Guess what tuff ****. No one could or would come with out CASH. NO CC cash up front.
Don't buy into there crap.
Find a private towing co. you can trust. Make sure it covers all things.
Flat, accident, gas etc.

Guess point has been made ,,, But AAA Plus does not Cover Bike hauling AAA RV Plus Does.... Always have the HOG upgrade as well for backup .. When had Progressive insurance would still be waiting for the wrecker beside the road when try to get a tow through them...

I've used AAA several times over the years for my cages and have always been pleased with the response. My progressive RS assistance does state that we have the option of getting a private tow and they'll reimburse us for a reasonable amount.

My biggest concern is some hack showing up with a flatbed trailer and dragging my bike up on it.
