Question about coverage...
I have Progessive for my bike and I was curious....
I have classified my bike as a 'pleasure' vehicle and not a daily commuter. My policy shows on the summary page that the bike is listed as 'pleasure' and the annual mileage written on there is 2,000 miles/yr.
Is the 2,000 miles/yr just arbitrary since it is pleasure or are they strict about that. Does that mean if I go over 2,000/yr I will not be covered? Or is 2,000/yr just a figure to show that the vehicle isn't a daily commuter?
If anyone with insurance experience could help, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks!

Yep, just keep your trap shut about riding it if you have a claim.
However, I would also read your policy right away. There may be a clause in there something akin to this:
3000 miles per year = under insured 33.33%
Therefore $10,000 loss is deducted 33.33%
Many policies have a coinsurance penalty when you do not insure a building or property correctly, and this may be another form of it. You better read it.
Find your policy, look at the form number (should be on the top or bottom left) and IM me the form number and I can pull it up online and have a look at it for you.
